SEGA’s giving Hero Bank another shot with sequel

By all accounts, Hero Bank was a massive failure, selling a measly 15,000 copies in its opening week and still hasn’t reached even 55,000 copies sold to date. Not even the Hero Bank anime and manga could do much to help spur sales.

However, that hasn’t stopped SEGA from announcing a sequel for the franchise, which will once again be released on the Nintendo 3DS and available in Japan on Nov. 27.

While the original 3DS game didn’t make it to the U.S., we did get a subbed version of the Hero Bank anime. Hopefully, SEGA will consider an international release this time around as some people in the West are now familiar with the franchise.
