After several delays, Citizens of Earth will for serious release on time

We’ve been eagerly awaiting Eden Eden Industries’ upcoming modern, retro-style RPG Citizens of Earth awhile now. And by awhile, I mean we thought we were going to get it in October, but then it was pushed to November and delayed again until Jan. 20. Well, thankfully, it looks like the game is actually coming out this time as a post on the Citizens of Earth Facebook page confirmed the date.

In other news, the game’s Steam page is now live, complete with a launch countdown. Atlus USA, the game’s publisher, also released a slew of new screens for the game, where you take the role as the newly elected Vice President of the World. As you return to your hometown after your election, you realize that something isn’t quite right. Throughout your adventure, you’ll travel across deserts, forests, cities, mountains, casinos and a retirement community, according to the game’s website. Along the way, you’ll battle against mutants, attempt to overthrow a puppet government and more.

Citizens of Earth will retail for $14.99 and be released on the Sony PlayStation 4 and Vita, Nintendo Wii U and 3DS and Steam.
