Alien Front Online is online again thanks to fans

The Dreamcast’s homebrew community never ceases to amaze us, with it continually bringing back online connectivity to games that have lost official support around 15 years ago.

Today, they continue to impress, having announced that several fans have restored Alien Front Online’s online component. The work was primarily done by fans named Peter3K and Jonas Karlsson (Shuouma), who helped with setting up the server and bug testing.

While the game is technically back online, it’s not without bugs, but Peter3K plans to fix those soon. To be able to play again, see the Dreamcast Connection Guide for several methods of connecting online.
