Chain Chronicle social media teasing a comeback

Could the popular mobile RPG make its much-requested return to the West?

It’s been about a year and a half since SEGA and Gumi shut down the popular mobile action RPG Chain Chronicle in the West, but that hasn’t stopped fans from holding out hope that the game would one day see a return.

While it’s not a 100 percent confirmation, it does appear that Chain Chronicle is close to making that comeback, judging by a recent social media post from the official Chain Chronicle Facebook account.

The page teases that the game’s beloved heroes “need more time to wake up,” and urges its followers to like the goGame Facebook page for upcoming announcements that will feature “some very familiar faces.”

goGame is a Singapore-based mobile game publisher that SEGA invested millions of dollars into in December 2015, and it’s suggested that this company will have some sort of role with this new Chain Chronicle game.
