SEGA has been swinging for the fences at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Towards the final hour of their Day 2 TGS panel, SEGA revealed a compilation of the first three Cyber Troopers Virtual-On games that will be released Nov. 27 on the PlayStation 4 in Japan.
The collection is titled Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: Masterpiece 1995-2001 and will include Virtual-On: Cyber Troopers (1995), Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram (1998), and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Force (2001).
According to SEGA’s official Virtual-On site, all three games will come stocked with a plethora of network features, including ranked matches and team matches. Players can organize their own tournaments and round-robin style leagues.
In addition, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: Masterpiece 1995-2001 will also feature support for the Virtual-On “Twin Stick” controller, which was crowdfunded by electronics and hardware company Tanita Co.
There’s been no official word whether the game will be released in the West, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with the latest news.
