Homelander from The Boys will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster

Do you want to see Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1?

Yesterday, The Boys’ official TikTok revealed in a comment that Homelander from the hit show will fly into Mortal Kombat 1.

The original post promotes their collaboration with Call of Duty’s Season Four. In the comments of the post, one user asked if there was a possibility for The Boys to also collaborate with Mortal Kombat. In a reply, Vought Studios (named after a company from the show) responded “MK Confirmed.”

In another comment, the official account elaborates. The comment confirms that Homelander will be in Mortal Kombat 1.

Homelander will be available at some point. That’s all we can say.

The addition of Homelander in MK1 shouldn’t come as too large of a surprise for fans. In the past, Mortal Kombat became known for putting popular characters from film and television in their games. Ranging from Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees to T-800 and Rambo, NetherRealm loves including characters from outside properties.

Ironically, NetherRealm Studios themselves did not confirm Homelander’s arrival in the new game. Instead, the developer recently revealed some new gameplay and some other characters who will be in the base game. You can watch that for yourself below in case you missed it.
