Jace Hall wants an indie developer to make Condemned 3

It’s been nearly seven years since Monolith released Condemned 2: Bloodshot on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Some rabid fans, myself included, have long held hope that a new entry would somehow make its way to us.

It turns out we’re not the only ones wanting Condemned 3. Monolith’s founder and former CEO Jace Hall claims he, not SEGA or Warner Bros. Interactive, owns “the entire franchise” and has been thinking about a third game.

“Since I am focused on other things, and will be for quite some time, this franchise is just sitting there.” he posted on his Facebook page. “I am contemplating finding an interested and proven Indie development team AND PROVIDING IT TO THEM, so that they can take over the franchise and move it forward.

“As an indie, it can be very hard to get marketing/media attention for a title that you work on. This franchise is already quite known, has market demand, and is in an innovative genre/category,” he continued. “Should I explore this idea further? What say you all?”

Ummm, YES, yes you certainly should, Jace Hall. The only question now is what indie developer would be the best fit for the series?
