New Lost World trailer showcases co-op, racing modes

We heard SEGA had planned to debut a new Sonic: Lost World trailer during Gamescom that would showcase some new levels or something. Well, it turns out the trailer did that plus showed off the game’s “two-player co-op support” and “two-player versus racing” modes and the promised Miiverse item sharing.

From the looks of it, a second person will be able to control Tails in several vehicles: a UFO, fighter jet and something that looks like a giant booger.

While these added features surely aren’t giant selling points for the average gamer, I’m sure diehard Sonic fans will get some enjoyment out of them. What I’m sure I won’t enjoy is Tails’ incredibly annoying voice, which took all of four seconds to make me angry. I hope you can mute him.
