SEGA AGES Sonic 2, Puyo Puyo 2 coming to Switch eShop on Feb. 20

After SEGA confirmed that Knuckles will be playable in SEGA AGES Sonic the Hedgehog 2 a few weeks ago, we got more excited than we thought possible for a game that has been released on every conceivable video game console dating back to the Magnavox Odyssey.

SEGA has now confirmed that the game will be released, alongside the arcade version of Puyo Puyo 2, on the Nintendo Switch eShop on Feb. 20 in the Americas and Europe for $7.99.

This marks the first time Puyo Puyo 2 has received an official English localization, according to SEGA. This version will include two-player online battles, online rankings, a rewind feature and a colorblind mode.

Sonic 2 will have features like Super Sonic Mode (allowing you to begin with seven Chaos Emeralds), online rankings and the Ring Keep Mode, which was introduced inĀ 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
