SEGA announces Sonic port to Amazon Luna

In an official press release, SEGA announced Team Sonic Racing is zooming to Amazon Luna:

Sonic, Tails and all the others get behind the wheel on a new platform! Team Sonic Racing™, SEGA’s2019 arcade sensation, is racing at 100 an hour on Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna. Starting today, the supercharged racing game joins the impressive catalogue of games available on the support, including the exceptional Sonic Mania Plus that fans of chiseled and modern platform games have been wearing since its release.

Designed with an immoderate love for the game, Amazon Luna allows its subscribers to stream high-quality games, wherever they are and whenever they want on their Fire TV, PC, Mac, web browser, iOS or Android phone or tablet directly from Amazon’s gaming servers, powered by AWS. For an optimal experience without any latency, players can bring the Amazon Luna controller that connects them directly to Luna servers.

There is currently no release date for the Luna, and is still in early access. You can get into the early access phase by being invited only after paying $5.99 a month. Amazon promises 100 games on launch so it’s a wait and see to see the official lineup.
