SEGA Central hints at Valkyria Chronicles Remaster coming to the West

A new episode of SEGA of Europe’s SEGA Central YouTube series was released today, and it contained some pretty interesting “news” for those of us hoping to see Valkyria Chronicles Remaster released in the West.

“We heard you loud and clear in our polls, so here’s a tidbit from Japan,” said Dan Sheridan, SoE’s community manager. “A new trailer for Valkyria Chronicles Remaster on PlayStation 4 was recently released.

“But what does this mean for us,” he cheekily asked. “Will we see it in the West? Tune in next week to find out more. Muahahahaha!”

While it’s not an official confirmation that Valkyria Chronicles Remaster will indeed be released in the West, chances are it’s pretty darn likely.

The game will release in Japan on Feb. 10 and will feature 1080p resolution, all of the original game’s downloadable content and trophy support. It will also include a demo for Valkyria Azure Revolution.

There’s been no official word whether the game will release in the West, but you can pre-order the Japanese version from Play-Asia here, and the deluxe version here.
