SEGA confirms Yakuza 0 coming to NA, Europe in early 2017

It’s been awhile since we last heard any Yakuza 0 news, but SEGA dropped a new trailer upon us, showing off the game and confirming several bits of info.

The game is targeted for a simultaneous release in both North America and Europe in both retail and digital form in early 2017 for the PlayStation 4.

Also, the press release noted that Sony isn’t involved in the production of the game, and “Yakuza 0 is being localized 100% as a SEGA initiative.”

In the game, players will control Kiryu and Majima before they become known as the Dragon and Mad Dog, and “find out just how bad things can get for a Yakuza foot soldier,” according to SEGA.
