SEGA Genesis Mini to add ‘Wily Wars’ and ‘Sonic Spinball’

SEGA has announced 10 more games coming to the SEGA Genesis Mini.

The main addition to the mini is Capcom’s Mega Man: The Wily Wars. This game was only released in Japan and PAL regions and was only available to play in the US through the SEGA Genesis’ pay-to-play network, SEGA Channel. Notable additions to the Genesis Mini are Sonic Spinball and Golden Axe. You can see the tweet from SEGA below.

Here’s the latest additions:

  • Mega Man: The Wily Wars
  • Street Fighter II’: Special Champion Edition
  • Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
  • Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
  • Beyond Oasis
  • Golden Axe
  • Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium
  • Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball
  • Vectorman
  • Wonder Boy in Monster World

With this, Retro-Bit, who fits retro console controllers, has collaborated with SEGA to produce exclusive 6-button controllers for the SEGA Genesis Mini. You can pre-order it from Amazon.

The final 10 games will be announced in June. The SEGA Genesis Mini will be available on September 19th for $79.99. You can pre-order the console on Amazon.
