SEGA holding a ‘design a mascot’ competition

Ever wanted to create your own SEGA mascot? Well now could be your chance. SEGA’s Toshihiro Nagoshi, (possibly best known for his work on the Monkey Ball and Yakuza franchises) is hosting a live show ‘SEGA Raw’ on video-hosting site, NicoNico Douga (basically Japan’s own YouTube).

According to Yakuza-fan the company wants to see “something that incorporates the spirit and love of SEGA.”

The contest winner will receive Nagoshi-san’s autograph and any merchandise of your character that is made. Which is a pretty sweet deal.

I've been a SEGA fan pretty much all my gaming life - though I am also SEGA Nerds' resident Microsoft fanboy (well, every site needs one) and since SEGA went third party, I guess it's now ok to admit that I like Nintendo and Sony too :0)
