SEGA might not have a booth at E3

If you were hoping for big things from SEGA at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, you might be sorely disappointed. It appears the company hasn’t registered a booth for the show, meaning this could be one of the first times in years SEGA doesn’t have a booth at the industry’s largest annual media event.

Atlus, however, is listed as a registered exhibitor, so it could be that SEGA showed its games off there, but that seems doubtful. While some could see SEGA not being an exhibitor at E3 as a sign or more trouble, it could be that the announced move of SEGA of America’s headquarters and the recent layoffs played into the decision to forego this year’s event.

We certainly believe SEGA will at least have some presence at the event, likely showing its games at the Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft booths. In years past, SEGA has announced the games they would show at the event in the week preceding E3.

If SEGA does, indeed, show its games at E3, these games are what we expect to see in some form:

  • Sonic Runners
  • Heroki
  • Tembo the Badass Elephant
  • Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax
  • Yakuza 5
