SEGA Nerds

SEGA Nerds’ Horror Fest announcement

It’s our favorite time of year when we get to dust off our favorite scary movies on VHS and decorate our homes with witches, demons and all sorts of other unsavory figures. But most importantly, we devote time to play some scary SEGA games!

This year, rather than keep the games to ourselves, we’re going to share them with you in our inaugural SEGA Nerds’ Horror Fest! Each weekend, throughout October, and starting with the Master System/Game Gear, we’re going to publish a video showcasing our favorite horror titles on each SEGA platform. Additionally, we’re going to show you what makes these games scary and the impact they had on the industry when they were released.

First up is the Master System and Game Gear, which had some great horror titles like Vampire: Master of Darkness, that will be released on Oct. 5. Here’s our schedule of releases:

Oct. 5: Master System/Game Gear
Oct. 12: Genesis
Oct. 19: 32X/CD
Oct. 26: Saturn
Oct. 31: Dreamcast

We hope you’re as excited as we are to delve back into SEGA’s console’s horror library. Hopefully, you’ll play these games with us and share your thoughts on these classic games!
