Spider-Man swings into San Diego Comic Con tomorrow!

Marvel revealed some exciting news yesterday regarding activities revolving around Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at San Diego Comic Con.
The event, taking place tomorrow, will feature unique photo opportunities with statues of both Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales. In addition, Marvel notes that a third character may appear in your photo too. Though unconfirmed, the third character will presumably be Venom. Better yet, everyone who gets a picture with the statues will also receive a small Spidey-themed gift.
In addition to the photo opportunity, Insomniac Games‘ creative director Bryan Intihar, and other senior directors for Spider-Man 2, will appear to discuss the game. Alongside the developers, key cast members for Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Mary Jane Watson and Venom will join the discussion as well. During the discussion, the team will talk about Venom and the symbiote’s role within the game.
The roundtable discussion will take place tomorrow in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con from 2:30 to 3:30 pm PT. Following the discussion, the cast and developers will stick around for a special signing as well. Other Marvel activities will feature at San Diego Comic Con too, ranging from Spider-Man-themed pinball games to a pop-up store featuring exclusive merchandise from Marvel and Kith’s collaboration.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 swings out this October
You can pre-order Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 now for $69.99. All pre-orders for the base game will receive two alternate attires with color variants for Peter and Miles respectively. In addition, you’ll receive a Webb Grabber gadget and three skill points at launch.
In addition, you can also pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99 to receive even more special costumes for Peter and Miles’ Spider-Men.
Hardcore fans can also order the Collector’s Edition for $229.99 to receive a 19-inch statue featuring both Spider-Men fighting Venom. Additionally, the Collector’s Edition also comes with a special Steelbook case.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive. It swings out to PlayStation 5 on October 20.
