The Genesis launches its ad campaign

Hey, SEGA Nerds. In an effort to inundate you with Genesis stuff on the 25th anniversary of its launch, I decided to barf up this click bait retrospective post showing some of the ads SEGA ran as part of their famous “Genesis Does What Nintendon’t” campaign. My personal favorite ad is the Golden Axe one.

I also dropped in a video of Al Nilsen playing Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker and Castle of Illusion on national television.

Sure, you can find all of this stuff yourself with a simple search engine, but then how would our site receive any traffic?

I’d totally be okay with bringing Tyris Flare home to meet my mother. If mom didn’t like her, Tyris would stab her in the neck, burn down our house, and we would run off to have adventures and eventually settle on a chicken leg farm… not that I’ve thought about it, though.

Happy 25th, SEGA Genesis! Now you can rent a car!
