Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World gets release date

It’s been awhile since we last heard the latest with Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World, but publisher ININ Games has finally shared the game’s official release date.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will officially release on May 25 for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch (and will include the original Monster World IV) via the Strictly Limited store.

The digital PS4 and Switch versions will be available to purchase via STUDIOARTDINK’s online store for €34.99, along with a Steam release with the price to be announced. In addition to the retail and digital versions, a Collector’s Edition will be available for €99.99, limited to 2,500 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,200 copies for PlayStation 4 worldwide.

The Mega Collector’s Edition celebrates the origins of the game and includes everything from the CE and even more fantastic items like the Asha and Pepelogoo figurine, Asha pixel pin, a vinyl sticker for your console and more (€179.99).

The game is developed by STUDIOARTDINK and published by ININ Games. Series’ creator Ryuichi Nishizawa is leading development, as well as several other members of his original development team returning to join the project.
