Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is out now for Steam and Xbox Game Pass

Last month, I restarted my Yakuza journey once again. Now that I have a super fancy gaming laptop (Razer Blade 15 baby!), I wanted to experience Kiryu’s journey in a new way. With my PS5 controller in tow, I worked my way from Yakuza 0 and am finishing up Yakuza 3.

I gotta say SEGA really outdid themselves with their PC ports. If you were looking to start your own Yakuza experience, I would definitely recommend playing them all on Steam.

This week, SEGA released their final entry in the PC version of Yakuza: Remastered Collection. For only $20.00, you can witness Yakuza 6: The Song of Life in glorious 60fps. I don’t want to post Steam’s official description for fear of spoiling the story to newcomers.

I will give you the minimum PC requirements, though!

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 | AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, 8 GB | AMD Radeon RX Vega 56, 8 GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 40 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: Requires a CPU which supports the AVX and SSE4.2 instruction set

You can grab your own copy of Yakuza 6 here.

If you’re just starting your own Yakuza experience, tell us all about it! I’ll tell you right now that earlier entries in the series do not have an intuitive Hostess Club system. Matching their clothes to increase ranks is pure guesswork. Unless you’re a psychic, I would look up tips on Reddit.
